At the WattWelten visitor center on Norderney, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visitors can learn about various topics relating to the Wadden Sea. Biological and geological processes, the protection of the Wadden Sea and its biodiversity play an important role here. Topics such as fishing, coastal protection and behavioral tips for visitors are also covered.
In particular, visitors are encouraged to participate through interactive games, puzzles and cross-sensory tasks. An evaluation station at the end of the tour summarizes the results of the individual stations and thus creates a profile.

235 Media renewed the hardware and software of the media stations and gave the content a fresh look. Lovingly crafted illustrations, intuitive on-screen applications and additional hands-on stations present and communicate the inhabitants of the mudflats and their characteristics.
