World Climate Conference in Bonn

COP23

CLIENT: Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie
6th til 17th November 2017

After two intensive weeks, COP23 came to an end on Friday. The World Climate Conference actually took place in Germany, but was under the presidency of the Fiji islands. Germany supported the South Sea republic as technical organiser. The aim of the conference was to elaborate on the details of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, so it could be agreed at the next World Climate Conference in 2018. The Federal Ministry for Business and Energy used this opportunity to promote the energy revolution as a solution for successful, worldwide climate protection in the German pavilion.

Acting for the Federal Ministry for Business and Energy, 235 MEDIA designed and created the “Smart Wall” – an interactive wall, which aimed to make the German energy revolution easier to understand, particularly for international guests. In the energy landscape portrayed, your can switch energy consumers on and off, for example, and experiment with the interaction of sun, wind and co. in electricty production.
