The LWL Museum of Natural History in Münster has opened its new special exhibition “Genes – Diversity of Life”. The main theme is genetics and related phenomena such as mutations and genetic engineering. In many different and partly interactive stations, visitors can explore complex relationships from the microcosm of the cell to the diversity of life.

The special exhibition offers an interactive and inclusive explanation of genes and also highlights the most important milestones in genetics. Through the innovative combination of media technology and architecture, visitors embark on a journey through science and discover the astonishing diversity of life.

235 Media supported the LWL in the implementation of the final installation “Diversity Wall” and the installation of interactive stations. The design of the interactive video installation, in which visitors can become part of the biological diversity, was also implemented by us.
